Take Your Time

I was in a hurry

I thought we had no time

But You held my heart till it got quiet

And said we have all the time in the world

Take your time to remember

How you carried every stone

of where you've been

and where I AM

Take your time in this moment

I meant it when I said

'Be anxious for nothing,

before you were here, I AM.'

Place every memory

on top of another

You're building a house

of remembrance

It started as an altar,

and now it is Our home

Originally in April 2020, I wrote this on Silent Saturday. I realised I had become so angsty about being quiet and still, and all the to-do lists and things that keep me anxious would flood my mind every time. Until His Spirit spoke to my heart... and i could breathe.
