It is not Age that Ages Us

It is not age that ages us.

I believe we are all born with fire in our hearts.

A passion, a spark.

Fires only go out when we stop tending the flame.

So, the next time you look in the mirror,

and you’re worried about the dying embers,

just remember:

you can always find more wood to burn.

It is not age that ages us,

but neglecting the fire within -

forgetting to laugh and believe like children.

It is not age that ages us.

It is not time that kills the flame.
