Seeping into the torn and shattered spaces

Lacing your poison around the edges

How you preyed upon the innocent

Racking up your victims

Making them believe

Good things are just not for them

And gloated in the building

Of an isolating fortress

As they thought it would ‘protect’ them

From the torture you inflicted

Yes, I see you, Rejection

How you twisted broken branches

Bending stems into contortions

That won’t let hope back in

Forging warped and lacking vision

Strangling memories of brushes

And the creative strokes of pens

Shutting them down until they’re silent

Crushed underneath the weight

Of you,

you Exhausting Tyrant!

Yes, I see you, Rejection

Yes, I see you, Trauma

Yes, I see you, Anxiety

Yes, I see you, Depression

Listen up as I break it to you

you’re not the Focus of my attention!

I see your defeat

I see His Mercy

mending every distorted piece

His Blood

reclaiming the lives you steal

You trespassing thief!

I see Surrender

that of all your victims

Not out of fear,

but from sweetest relief

Exchanging the commit-able madness

Breathing in - His Perfect Peace As they're dancing - wild and free

He does not mind the time

in breaking down your strongholds

Even if the clock ticks brick by brick

His love is greater than any chasm

Your best attempts could hope to achieve

Who is He?

Oh, you know Him well

He is the One

sending you right back to hell

He is the Leader

(I’m sure you’ve heard the whispers)

Of the ones with eyes like fire

And they’re coming for you

Yes I see you
